Hello Everyone,
We’ve got a few quick updates to share from around the rink as we head into week 2!
Photography – Sean from Lucid Musings will be on site next week taking some updated photos for our website. If you’re around the club, please help us show off what makes St. Marys Curling such a great community.
Lounge Clock – As part of our lounge refresh, we’re looking to add a large wall clock to the space. If you have one you’d like to donate, please send me a photo and its size and I will let you know if it will work for the space. We are also still accepting donations through The Button Project for those who are interested. If you have every considered adding your name to one of the rocks on the ice this is the best way to get that.
Fridge for Sale- To create a little extra space in the kitchen we are selling the large double-door fridge. If you’re interested, let me know.
Sparing Fees – A quick reminder that anyone who is not a member must pay $20 to spare. Please make sure this is taken care of before or after your game. New this year, we do offer associate memberships which allow players to spare as many times as they want for just $200.
Synterra Skins Spiel – Our first event of the year, the Synterra Skins Spiel, is happening November 15. Signup will be going up in the lounge shortly but you can register now by visiting: https://stmaryscurling.ca/event/synterra-skins-spiel/
AGM – Our Annual General Meeting is happening Friday October 24th at 7:00pm.
