Week 9 Update

Hello curlers,

Here is your weekly update from around the club:

Doubles Spiel This Weekend

Join us this weekend for our Doubles Spiel. We have teams competing from Canada, USA, Hong Kong, Mexico and Guyana. It’s always a fun and fast-paced event at the club. Games start at 1pm on Friday and run all the way to Sunday finals at 4pm.

Junior Curling Starts January 4

Our Junior Curling Program begins January 4, and we are still accepting registrations. This is a fun and active program for young curlers to learn the game, build skills, and make new friends. We are also looking for a few volunteers to help on-ice each week. If you’re able to lend a hand, it would make a big difference. Learn more or register here: https://stmaryscurling.ca/league/junior-curling-2/

Novice League & Learn to Curl – Spots Available

We still have room in both our Novice League and our Learn to Curl winter session.
If you are new to the game, these are great, friendly leagues that help you build skills and confidence. Please spread the word to anyone who might be interested. https://stmaryscurling.ca/leagues/

Social Leagues – Room for More Players

Our Thursday Night Mixed Social League and Tuesday Ladies Social have space for a few additional curlers. If you’re looking for a relaxed weekly game with a fun mix of players, these are the perfect leagues to join. Just reply to this email if you are interested in joining us in the second half.

Volunteer Opportunities

New volunteer opportunities have been posted. These roles help keep the club running smoothly and count toward your volunteer bond. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0544ACA72DA7F5CE9-60202845-stmarys#/
